Approaches should be relationship- and program-focused: demonstrate direct, concrete alignment with Dinosaur/Fossil Butte park programs and use the foundation’s public contact channels (website contact form, listed phone/email) or the executive director for outreach. Unsolicited grant proposals from organizations without an existing park connection are unlikely to succeed; cultivating a formal partnership or working through the park unit is the most realistic path to funding.
