Applicants should follow the spelled‑out mailed application instructions (letter stating name, address, tax‑exempt status, purpose, amount and term) and meet the Sept. 30 deadline; proposals should be concise, emphasize program fit with the foundation’s past health and community priorities, and include tax‑exempt documentation. Building a local Florida connection or demonstrating program impact in areas the foundation has funded will strengthen an application, but out‑of‑state groups with clear alignment have also been funded.
